Storytelling sits at the heart of everything Justine Beverley creates.

Described as a “dauntless storyteller”, the bilingual singer-songwriter explores the stories others might shy away from, finding extraordinary meaning in ordinary moments. Blending the warmth of American country with Scottish folk influences and a touch of French pop, her music pairs intimate, emotionally direct lyrics with atmospheric production. Writing in both English and French, she brings a distinctly European perspective to Nashville-inspired storytelling.

Justine approaches each song as a world of its own, building a visual and sensory identity around the music – from landscapes and weather to colours, scents, clothing and textures. Together, those individual worlds form the wider universe of her debut EP, Between Tides: a collection shaped by movement, memory, identity and life between places.

Since her first open mic in 2023, Justine has performed at Celtic Connections’ Danny Kyle Open Stage, Country2Country, Country on the Clyde, Live in Loch Goil and Belladrum. In 2025, she travelled to Nashville for Andrea Stolpe’s songwriting retreat featuring Beth Nielsen Chapman, while also performing at writers’ rounds across Music City.

With support from BBC Radio Scotland, CountryLine Radio, Holler Country and a growing network of press, radio and podcast champions, Justine is establishing herself as a distinctive emerging voice across contemporary country, Americana and folk.
