Hailing from France, Justine Beverley debuted her musical journey after a few years backpacking in Australia and getting up close with the local folk scene. Shortly after her debut Open Mic in Glasgow in 2023, she was awarded a slot at the Danny Kyle Open Stage at Celtic Connections, followed by performances at Country2Country, Eden Festival, Broadcast, the Kelvingrove Bandstand, Room 2, the Record Factory, Cottiers, Sofar Sounds and The Stand Comedy Club. Inspired by country and folk artists like Gillian Welch, Evan Honer, Lainey Wilson, Sons of the East and Beluga Lagoon, over the past year she has passionately crafted a repertoire of original songs, each one a reflection of her travels through Scotland, the U.S. and Australia.
